Olivia Rodrigo will return to the Austin City Limits stage on July 29, five years after making her debut on the long-running music series. The show’s July 13 announcement confirmed that the taping will feature her first full-set performance of the new album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.
Organizers also confirmed that the hourlong episode will premiere on PBS this fall as part of Season 52. The upcoming season will be the first in the program’s history to give every featured artist a full-hour episode.
Fans hoping to attend the Austin taping can enter an online giveaway for free passes beginning July 24. Winners will be selected through a random drawing and notified by email. Two passes are allowed per person, although a pass does not guarantee admission because the program distributes more passes than the venue can hold to account for no-shows.
Rodrigo first appeared on the series in 2021, when she performed before a live audience early in her career. Her return places the focus on her latest material and a complete live presentation of the album.
