The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is hosting winter seasonal hiring events at locations across the state. Positions run from November 2026 through late March 2027 and include full-time as well as on-call snowplow-only operations. Job duties include performing general highway and traffic maintenance, snow and ice removal and other duties related to winter operations. Registration is not required to attend, and interviews will be conducted on-site the same day. The Northwest District hiring event is Tuesday October 6, 2026, 10am-3pm local time, at INDOT’s Gary, LaPorte, Plymouth, and Rensselaer subdistrict offices.
